Abstract

In this research  the effect of annealing  and Argon  Laser  Irradiation on some optical properties of CuO thin films have been done.  Thin films were prepared by chemical spray pyrolysis  technique . The thickness of films was 1000 A°. Optical properties such as  Reflectance, Energy band gap and Absorption coefficient as a function of photon energy have been studied within the wavelength range of (300-900) nm, using UV-visible Spectrophotometer, before and  after annealing and irradiation. It is found that the  optical properties are changed.
